Chocolate oatmeal pie

"It's super nice to start the weekend (or a regular weekday) with a treat breakfast, isn't it? This recipe is perfectly suited for that. Additionally, this is a great pre-workout meal. This oatmeal pie is rich in plant-based proteins, making it perfect to provide your body with enough energy.

Ingredients

  • 50g oats
  • 50g oat flour
  • 1 scoop of Orangefit Protein Choco
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 apple (softly baked)
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 15 grams of 85% dark chocolate
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 50 ml almond milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Grease two small oven dishes with coconut oil.

  3. Add 6 tbsp of water to the 2 tbsp of ground flaxseed and let it sit for 5 minutes.

  4. Peel the apple and cut it into small pieces. Cook the apple pieces on low heat for 8 to 10 minutes until they have softened nicely.

  5. Then, blend these pieces together with the bananas in a food processor (or do this by hand using a fork).

  6. Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and add it along with all the other ingredients to the blended fruit.

  7. Mix it well by hand.

  8. Divide the mixture into the two oven dishes and place them in the preheated oven.

  9. Bake the oatmeal pies for 30 minutes until done.

  10. Enjoy them while they are still nice and warm: DELICIOUS!
