Protein-rich Açaí Bowl

The deep purple açaí berry is no ordinary fruit. This superfood from Brazil is a potent antioxidant and activates detoxification enzymes. You can get açaí in powder form or as pulp in freezer packs. If you want to take this summery goodness with you on vacation, opt for a jar of powder.

Start your day light and healthy with an açaí bowl, a breakfast that's just as good as a dessert. Finish it off with slices of banana, your other favorite fruits, seeds, pieces of nuts, cinnamon, chocolate chips. Orangefit Protein makes your bowl of happiness even healthier.

Ingredients (for 2 people)

  • 1 frozen banana 
  • 100 ml pure apple juice (without added sugar) 
  • 100 grams frozen blueberries or raspberries 
  • 1/2 scoop Orangefit Vanilla Protein 
  • 1 tsp açaí powder 
  • 1 peach 
  • 1 tsp coconut flakes 
  • Optional: granola

Instructions

  1. Blend the frozen fruit with the apple juice, Orangefit Vanilla Protein, and açaí powder until smooth.
  2. Transfer this mixture to a bowl.
  3. Decorate the açai bowl with the peach slices, coconut flakes, and optionally, add some granola for an extra crunch.
