Protein-Rich Chocolate Hummus

This protein-rich chocolate hummus is so delicious that secretly we'd like to spread it on every slice of bread, cracker, or rice cake from now on. It's a delightful protein-packed snack for in-between meals and also perfect as a sandwich spread for your child's lunchbox.

The recipe to make your own chocolate hummus for sandwiches is super easy. You only need a few healthy ingredients, and in a few simple steps, you'll have homemade hummus on the table.

You know what's even better? Spread the chocolate hummus on a warm toasted roll. Guaranteed to be a treat! 

Ingredients (for a large quantity)

  • 200 grams of chickpeas (canned, rinsed)
  • 4 teaspoons of raw cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop of Orangefit Protein chocolate flavor
  • Pinch of salt
  • 70 grams of tahini
  • 1 tablespoon of agave syrup
  • 100 ml of water

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth.

  2. If the blending is a bit challenging, scrape down the sides occasionally. You can also add a bit more tahini or a splash of water to achieve a creamier texture. Adjust to your taste!

  3. Store the protein-rich chocolate hummus in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

Spread it on and enjoy!
