Ingredients (for 8 balls)

  • 100 grams of oats
  • 2 scoops of Orangefit Protein (vanilla)
  • 120 grams of dates
  • 100 grams of grated carrot
  • 40 grams of mixed nuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of flaxseed
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut flakes
  • Optional: a splash of almond milk

Instructions

  1. Soak the dates (pit removed) in hot water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and then blend them with the rest of the ingredients (except coconut flakes and almond milk) in a food processor.
  3. Check if the 'dough' is sticky enough by kneading it between your hands. Does the dough stick together? Then you're done blending. Does the dough still fall apart? Add a splash of almond milk or water and blend again.
  4. Divide the energy ball dough so you can roll 20 evenly sized balls.
  5. Knead each portion of dough between your hands into a compact mass and then roll it into a ball.
  6. Roll it through the coconut flakes.
  7. Place the balls in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This will make them more compact.
  8. You can store the carrot cake energy balls in a sealed container for about a week.

Tip: You can also freeze the bliss balls for a later time, as this will make them last longer.
