No-bake Plant-Based Apple Pie

This Friday, enjoy a delicious Orangefit plant-based apple pie with a whopping 10 grams of protein per slice, and you don't even have to bake it! 

Ingredients

For the crust

  • 135 grams of cashews
  • 30 grams of Orangefit Vanilla Protein
  • 80 grams of fresh dates
  • 80 grams of shredded coconut

For the filling

  • 3 apples (Elstars were used for this recipe)
  • 20 grams of Orangefit Vanilla Protein
  • 40 grams of raisins
  • 150 grams of fresh dates
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Pit the fresh dates.
  2. Put the ingredients for the crust in the food processor.
  3. Transfer the crust mixture into the pie dish and press it firmly.
  4. Peel the apples and put two apples in the food processor along with the other filling ingredients.
  5. Keep one apple separate.
  6. After making the filling, add the extra apple in pieces to the mixture and stir it in well.
  7. Put the filling over the crust and spread it out.
  8. Cover the pie with aluminum foil and put it in the freezer for at least an hour.
  9. Take it out of the freezer 10 minutes before consuming.
