These protein-packed granola eggs are a blast to make either by yourself or with the kids and taste really yummy as a snack.

The granola is made from nutritious ingredients, and, of course, we've added a scoop of our plant-based protein powder!

The great thing about homemade granola is that you can keep experimenting with the ingredients and spices.

For example, add some speculaas spices or a pinch of ginger powder for a fresh yet warm taste.

Ingredients for 16 eggs

100 grams of rolled oats

  • 1 scoop of Orangefit Vanilla Protein
  • 2 tablespoons of pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of almond butter
  • A handful of raisins
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed
  • 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • A pinch of gingerbread spices
  • A pinch of salt
  • 60 ml of water
  • Optional: 100 grams of 85% dark chocolate

Instructions

1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and knead them together with your hands until you have a mixture. The granola mixture should be sticky but still crumbly.

To form compact eggs, knead small heaps of it between your hands.

Tip: add the water gradually.

2. Shape each portion of the granola mixture into a ball, then form it into an 'egg' shape.

3. Place the granola eggs in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to help them set and become compact.

4. Optional: Melt the chocolate using a double boiler and carefully dip the eggs in it, or drizzle a bit of chocolate over the eggs with a spoon.

Tip: it doesn't have to be perfect, have some fun!

5. Allow them to dry on a cooling rack or plate, then return them to the refrigerator to let the chocolate harden again.

6. They're ready to enjoy!
