Pumpkin-Oat Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • 160 grams of oats
  • 40 grams of Orangefit Protein (protein powder)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon/cookie spices
  • 300 grams of pumpkin (cubes)
  • 3 tablespoons of agave syrup or date syrup
  • 3 tablespoons of almond milk
  • 30 grams of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Chocolate (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Put a pot of water on the stove and add the pumpkin once the water is boiling.
  3. Let it cook for 15-20 minutes until it's soft.
  4. Put all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  5. When the pumpkin is ready, drain it and blend it with a hand blender.
  6. Add all the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
  7. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray and put the mixture in it.
  8. Optionally, top it off with chocolate or other toppings as you like.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes, then let it cool in the oven while turning it off.
  10. Once the pumpkin-oat mixture has cooled, you can cut it into bars.
  11. Then, you can make it even tastier with nuts and fruit if you'd like!
