Raw Protein Brownies

A variation on the oven-baked brownie: raw Orangefit protein brownies. No baking time, so ready in no time. Delicious as a snack or pre/post workout treat! 

Ingredients

  • 150 grams of cashews
  • 250 grams of fresh dates
  • 35 grams of cocoa powder
  • 45 grams of Orangefit Vanilla or Chocolate Protein
  • 60 grams of date syrup
  • 50 grams of coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Put the cashews in a food processor until finely ground.
  2. Add the fresh dates to the cashews and blend until well combined.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients to the mixture and let it run in the food processor for about a minute.
  4. It should have a firm and sticky consistency —> it shouldn't be so sticky that you can't get it off your hands.
  5. Too wet? Add some coconut flakes or protein powder.
  6. Too dry? Add some extra date syrup.
  7. Put a piece of parchment paper in a brownie tin.
  8. Put the raw brownie mixture in the tin and place it in the refrigerator.
  9. After an hour, they are perfect to cut!
  10. Storing them in the fridge is enough! They don't need to be in the freezer.

Tip: Optionally, add cocoa nibs or raisins for an extra bite!
