Start your day with a smoothie! This pumpkin smoothie is naturally perfect for this time of year. Its lovely orange color complements the beautiful colors outside.

Ingredients for 2 smoothies

  • 50 grams of oats
  • 200 grams of pumpkin
  • 150 ml of plant-based milk
  • 200 ml of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 apple
  • 1 scoop of Orangefit Protein vanilla
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon of maca powder

Instructions

1. Cut the pumpkin into small pieces (you don't necessarily have to remove the skin) and remove the seeds if needed.

2. Boil the pumpkin pieces in plenty of boiling water for 15 minutes until they become soft.

3. Drain the pumpkin and then puree the pieces finely. Let it cool if desired.

4. Mix the pumpkin puree with the rest of the ingredients until you get a creamy consistency.

5. If you prefer a thinner pumpkin smoothie, you can add a bit more water or plant-based milk.

6. If you find the smoothie not sweet enough, a few drops of agave syrup can make a big difference.
